That describes most of the people I work with. The point of a fractional CTO is that you don’t have to understand the technical detail yourself. I translate it into plain language so you can make the call with confidence.

How are your engagements priced, and what is included?
Not by the hour. Ongoing work is a fixed monthly engagement, and builds are a fixed price set after a paid diagnostic. You know the investment before anything starts, and it is tied to the value of the outcome rather than time on a clock.

How quickly can we expect to see results from a strategy engagement?
It depends what we are solving. A vendor or build-versus-buy question usually has a clear answer at the end of a diagnostic, within a few weeks. A custom platform delivers its first usable piece early, well before the full system is finished.

What is the primary deliverable?
For a diagnostic, a written read on where you are, the real constraint, and a clear recommendation you can act on. For ongoing work, direct access to a CTO who has done this before. For a build, a working platform your business runs on.

Once we have a strategy, can your team build and implement it?
Yes. There is a dedicated engineering team under signed IP and confidentiality agreements, and I review the architecture and the decisions that matter personally. You get a CTO and a build team without hiring either.
