Enterprise Platform Builds
Off-the-shelf software is the right answer for most businesses. When it is not, the reason is usually that the regulatory environment is too specific, the workflow is too unusual for a generic tool, or the data is too sensitive to sit inside someone else’s platform.
That is when a custom build earns its place, and only then.
How we decide whether to build
I do not default to custom builds. I talk most people out of them.
A custom platform means taking on hosting, security patching, maintenance, backups, and compliance work that a subscription handles for you quietly in the background. For a business running an ordinary workflow, an off-the-shelf tool is almost always the better answer, and saying so is part of the job.
Building is the right call when the business sits under regulatory requirements that commercial tools can only meet through risky workarounds, or when the workflow is so specific that forcing it into generic software costs more in daily friction than building the real thing, or when the data is sensitive enough that putting it inside a third-party platform is not acceptable. If you have not yet tried the off-the-shelf options and hit a real wall, there is usually a way through without a full build.

How builds work
Every build starts with a paid diagnostic. I do not quote a build from a phone call. The diagnostic defines what is actually needed and turns it into a fixed-price proposal. From there the work is delivered in phases, each one deployed on its own so value arrives before the whole system is finished. After launch, platforms are kept healthy under an ongoing governance engagement.
All development is run by Mount Mindforce through a dedicated engineering team under signed IP and confidentiality agreements. You own the intellectual property from the first day.
